COVID-19:- Angry youths burn police station in Katsina for stopping their prayers.
Angry youths burn police station in Katsina

Protesting youths in Kusada town in Katsina State have burnt down a Police station as well as seven cars, two motorcycles and a generator all parked in front of the station.

Investigation by The Nation revealed that the youths were protesting that Police prevented them from observing their prayers on Friday in compliance with the the state government directive on checking the spread of COVID-19.

A dusk- to -dawn curfew has been imposed on the town while arrests have been made by the Police.

Funke Akindele and hubby pleaded guilty Actress Funke Akindele-Bello and her hubby, Abdulrasheed Bello aka JJC Skillz, have pleaded guilty to the one count charge of defiling the orders of the Lagos state government on public gatherings and social distancing. The couple were arraigned on Monday morning April 6, before a Chief Magistrate court in Ogba by the Lagos State Government and the state police command for the alleged violation of the lockdown order to check the spread of coronavirus. The charge was filed by the  Attorney General of Lagos State, Moyosore Onigbanjo.
