  • US sees deadliest day: At least 163 people died Tuesday, bringing the US death toll past 700, as the WHO warned the country could be the next epicenter of the virus.

Funke Akindele and hubby pleaded guilty Actress Funke Akindele-Bello and her hubby, Abdulrasheed Bello aka JJC Skillz, have pleaded guilty to the one count charge of defiling the orders of the Lagos state government on public gatherings and social distancing. The couple were arraigned on Monday morning April 6, before a Chief Magistrate court in Ogba by the Lagos State Government and the state police command for the alleged violation of the lockdown order to check the spread of coronavirus. The charge was filed by the  Attorney General of Lagos State, Moyosore Onigbanjo.
